CANDIDATE QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES

Please share briefly what inspired you to run for this office and why you feel you’re qualified for the position.

I choose to run for this office to protect and expand the influence of the individual in govt and to protect the tax payers from run away spending and unchecked excuses on expenditures. As a self employed professional I am responsible for paying my bills and believe that govt should not look at the producers as unending resources to be plucked when things get tight.

How do you plan to address growth in the County? What is your opinion on infill vs. sprawl development, infrastructure needs and transportation issues?

affordable housing is a function of employ-ability.

How would you improve the County’s resources and assistance for people experiencing homelessness?

work to determine the underlying cause and addressing it.

How would you deal with the lack of mental health funding in this State at the County level?

first determine the need then address the current levels and how it can be supplemented through outside support

Should public transportation options be expanded? If so, how would you pay for expansion of public transportation options?

yes, through the existing tax structure, not through the imposition of new taxes.

In 2015, the Nevada Legislature preempted all local governments’ ability to regulate firearms. Should local governments have the ability to regulate firearms? If so, what type of laws would you like to see enacted at a county level to reduce gun violence?

NO
